10 BEST PLACES FOR PATIO DINING IN THE TREASURE VALLEY

The sun is out, temperatures are rising, and it is the perfect patio weather in the Treasure Valley! There is nothing quite like eating delicious food outside in beautiful Boise weather. If you are wondering where to grab a meal on a gorgeous summer day, then this list is a great place to start:


Take a walk along the Boise Greenbelt or wander downtown after a meal at the Cottonwood Grille. This restaurant’s expansive patio is great for a special occasion or a casual lunch. Cottonwood Grille is also known for its happy hour which happens daily from 3 to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.


Barbacoa is known for its unique, artistic ambiance and its gorgeous patio overlooking the Parkcenter Park pond. Sip a cocktail or nosh on Barbacoa’s famous tableside guacamole at the Luna Bar, the rooftop bar perched atop the eclectic steakhouse.


If you have seen a photo of Boise, then you have likely seen the historic bank building that now serves as Fork Restaurant. This patio is ideal for its central location in downtown and to enjoy Fork’s “Loyal to Local” pledge that results in delicious Northwest cuisine.


Want to experience the charming shopping and dining center of Bown Crossing in Southeast Boise? Head to Tavern at Bown Crossing. This restaurant’s patio is the perfect place to enjoy this hidden jewel of entertainment.


KIN is the must-visit destination in downtown Boise. This is the place to stop for handcrafted cocktails and small plates before heading to other downtown locations. While a seat inside of KIN requires a reservation, the patio tucked right next to an outdoor amphitheater.


A Boise institution, Bardney Restaurant and Distillery has two Treasure Valley locations with enviable patios. If you want to enjoy the Boise River, then make a reservation at the Eagle location. Want to stay downtown? You can do that, too!


Catch the Alive After Five concert series while relaxing at Lucky Fins’ patio. Meet up with friends at this prime spot on the Grove Plaza after exploring downtown.


The only hotel to make the list, the Residence Inn by Marriott boasts a beautiful roof deck to enjoy downtown views.


You will feel like you have been transported to an island when you venture to the Reef’s rooftop bar. With tiki torches and live music, this is a festive restaurant to grab a bite or drink.


Surrounded by lush vegetation, Crave Kitchen and Bar is the newest hot spot in Eagle. Crave Kitchen offers high-end food in a modern, comfortable atmosphere, including first-floor and rooftop patios.
